ANNOUNCEMENT — ELLETTSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT SEEKING VOLUNTEER RESERVE POLICE OFFICERS

The Ellettsville Police Department is looking for energetic and determined individuals who are committed to protect and serve the citizens of Ellettsville and would like to serve as a reserve police officer. These volunteer positions are responsible for providing aid and support to regularly assigned shift officers. Work hours will include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Reserve police officers are sworn, unpaid employees of the Town of Ellettsville who support the police department in the areas of crime prevention, patrol, community events and related tasks as assigned in the protection of life and property. Applications are available at the Ellettsville Police Department, 1406 W. Guy McCown Drive, Ellettsville, Indiana 47429, Monday through Friday between 9 am and 4 pm.
