ANNOUNCEMENT — SUNFLOWER 99 SPA INVESTIGATION

ELLETTSVILLE, INDIANA (JUNE 10, 2024): On Friday, June 7, 2024, members of the Ellettsville Police Department, in conjunction with the Monroe County Prosecutor's Office, and assisted by members of the Bloomington Police Department, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Indiana Department of Revenue, Battleground Police Department, and I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital served a search warrant on Sunflower 99 Spa, located at 4631 W. Richland Plaza Drive, in the Corporate Town of Ellettsville, Indiana. The warrant was issued as a result of information gathered during an investigation that started late last year due to accusations of illegal activity at the business. Information on the investigation, possible charges, and further action will be released in the near future. The EPD Investigation Unit continues to work in conjunction with the Monroe County Prosecutor's Office to bring this matter to a timely and satisfactory close.
